Terms of Use
These terms describe the rules for using TangShops as a shopper or seller. They should be read together with our Privacy, Shipping, and Return and Refund policies.

The TangShops marketplace
TangShops connects shoppers with independent sellers. The seller identified on a listing is responsible for the accuracy of that listing, product availability, fulfillment and the seller’s obligations relating to the sale. TangShops operates the platform and can assist with account and marketplace issues.
You must be at least 18 years old, or otherwise have the legal capacity and authorization needed, to open a seller account or enter a purchase or subscription agreement.
Accounts and acceptable use
Provide accurate information, keep your login secure and notify us if you suspect unauthorized use. Do not impersonate others, misuse another person’s data, interfere with the site, post fraudulent reviews or use the marketplace for unlawful activity.
Sellers must have the rights and authorizations needed to offer their products and use their listing content. Counterfeit, stolen, illegal or infringing products are prohibited. TangShops may remove listings or restrict accounts for policy violations, with notice where appropriate.
Listings, prices and orders
Review the seller, product description, price, availability, shipping charges and applicable policies before ordering. Sellers must keep their listings accurate and communicate any problem that prevents fulfillment. Errors do not permit a seller to charge a different amount without your agreement; an affected order may instead need to be cancelled and refunded.
Taxes and shipping charges, where applicable, are shown before payment. A basket containing multiple sellers’ products may be fulfilled in separate shipments.
Shipping, returns and support
Our Shipping Policy explains seller-managed delivery and rates. Our Return and Refund Policy provides a 30-day return request window after delivery for eligible products.
Contact the seller first for order-specific help. If the issue remains unresolved, contact info@tangshops.com. Nothing in these terms removes consumer rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
Seller plans and platform fees
Our planned monthly seller plans are Starter at $19.99 with an 8% platform commission, Pro at $39.99 with a 6% platform commission, and Enterprise at $99.99 with a 4% platform commission. Product limits are 30, 100 and unlimited respectively. Limits include draft products; product variations are not separate listings.
The launch offer for approved founding vendors is a 30-day Pro Seller trial. Eligibility, the trial start and end dates, any commissions during the trial, and any paid continuation must be clearly confirmed before enrollment. A free trial does not itself authorize an undisclosed charge.
Paid subscriptions and payouts are not yet available while the marketplace is being prepared. Before paid enrollment begins, sellers will receive the applicable billing, renewal and cancellation details and must authorize the subscription. Payment processing charges, taxes or other applicable deductions must be disclosed.
Seller settlement and responsibilities
At launch, eligible seller proceeds will follow a 7-day rolling settlement schedule. This replaces the old website’s 48-hour payout statement. Settlement is subject to confirmed payments, refund and dispute adjustments, account verification and any disclosed payment-provider holds. Bank receipt times can vary.
Sellers set their shipping rates or choose to include shipping in the item price. They must disclose processing times, keep inventory accurate, protect customer information and fulfill their support and return obligations.
Membership cancellation and expiry rules will be presented before paid enrollment. Sellers remain responsible for existing orders and customer claims after a membership ends.
Content, privacy and service availability
You retain rights to content you own. By submitting listings, store information or reviews, you allow TangShops to display and use that content as needed to operate and promote the marketplace. You must not submit material you are not authorized to use.
Personal information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. Sellers may use customer information only for legitimate order, delivery, support and related obligations, unless another lawful basis permits further use.
We work to maintain the platform but cannot promise uninterrupted availability. We may update features, address technical issues or take reasonable action to protect the service. These terms do not exclude responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the service develops. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate, and pricing changes will not be applied as an undisclosed charge.
